This is the application that ALL skunk owners need to send now for a permit to show their skunks in the state of Florida.
County of Facility......Volusia
Mary Kaye is putting together a letter that we can attach so that "Other" can be checked off under Commercial Activity. When that is available, I can be emailed for a copy.
| Filename | Size (in bytes) | Format | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skunkapp.png | 57,952 | PNG - Portable Network Graphics | Try this one first, if it works, it's the best. It dosen't work for everyone. |
| Skunkapp.gif | 81,560 | GIF - CompuServe Graphics Interchange Format | This is next most likely to work. |
| Skunkapp.tif | 90,266 | TIFF - Tagged Image File Format | Only some graphic programs support this but it's still pretty small. |
| Skunkapp.pct | 108,910 | PICT - Macintosh PICTure | This will definitely work for MAC users. Set the file type to PICT, and the creator to MACA. It is somewhat larger than the others. |
| Skunkapp.bmp | 476,606 | BMP - Windows Bitmap | This will definitely work for Windows or OS/2 users, but is the largest. |
| All of these images are the same. Try working from the top down, using the notes to find the best one for your system. Between this set of different file types, there should be one that will work for everybody. Smaller images download faster. | |||
| To view, you can probably click the link above. To download, you can probably right-click and select "Save As..." from the menu that appears. | |||
A paper form can be requested from the Department of Fish & Game.
F&G phone number: 1 (850) 488-3641. Request a "License to Possess Wildlife for Exhibition or Public Sale".
BTW, for all skunk owners, this will cover you for a year if you sell a skunk, or show up with it in public for any reason, educationally or at a gathering. It may be a good idea for ALL Florida owners to have it just in case.
