 *Outdoor Volleyball League for Adults
*The A/E Outdoor league is underway and runs until the end of August. *95
teams are signed up.  We have openings for a team in two of our groups.*
*Tuesday Informal Casual (our entry level) or Wednesday Formal B+ (our
highest level)*
*All levels are co-ed 6's on grass with games at Green Lake, Cowen and
Sandel Park.*
*Teams play a 5 game match once a week on a weeknight and the season ends
with an all day tournament for all the teams on a weekend in August (weekend
before the Labor Day weekend)*

*Individuals looking for an Adult Volleyball Team to join*

*3. Sign up for new team formed from individuals.  If we do not receive any
new team entries this week for the two spots listed above, we will try to
form a couple of new teams from interested individuals.  If you are
interested in playing on Tuesdays (any skill level)  or Wednesdays (BB/A
level players), email us at **aevolleyball at comcast.net** .  The cost will be
$50 for the balance of the season (about 7 weeknights and an all day
tournament in August).  Anyone willing to act as the captain for the new
team for communication purposes gets to play for free.*
*4. The other option is to walk the three sites on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or
Thursdays to see if any teams are light on players.  Pick the appropriate

*Volleyball Skills Day Camp for Grades 5 to 11.*
*Monday June 23 - Thursday June 26, 2008*
*8:30 to 4:00 PM Each Day at **Ballard High School. *
*provided by A/E Volleyball Association and Cascade Volleyball Club.  **Open
to the public*
*There will be separate courts for based on grade level and skill level*
*All facets of the game will be taught including **Passing / Serve Receive,
Hitting, Setting, Serving, Defense (Blocking, Digging, Positioning), and
Offensive plays.  Advanced training for those that have mastered basic
skills.  Scrimmages and prizes.  T-shirt for all participants.  Instructors
are all current or former college players and/or have attended the Gold
Medal Squared Coaching clinic (taught by NCAA Division 1 Champion Coaches
Jim McLaughlin, Carl McGown and Marv Dunphy).  Sign up at:

*Volleyball Tutoring:*
Private or small group tutoring for juniors and adults is available by the
hour.  The instructors are current or recent players from area College teams
and/or experienced Cascade Volleyball Club of Seattle Coaches.  If you are
interested send an email with the Subject: Tutoring to
aevolleyball at comcast.net and it will be forwarded to the instructors who
will contact you with their information and rates.
