INDOOR CO-ED VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE:
Another session of our very popular indoor league is about to begin.
Registration is open on line now for the fall session of our Indoor League.
There will be up to four groups of 16 teams on Sundays at Ingraham High
School (1819 North 135th Avenue in Seattle). Matches will tentatively begin
on September 23 and run to December 9 (no matches on November 11th and
25th).
We use a very fun and exciting format. Each week each team will play five
25 point games in a round robin fashion against 5 different opponents over a
2 hour period. The cost for the 10 week session which includes a
tournament with prizes is $300. This is a lot more volleyball than other
volleyball leagues where you play less sessions and you only play one
opponent each week for 2 or 3 games. Our league comes out to $15 per hour
for the whole team (a minimum of 48 games over the course of the season).
Sundays at Ingraham HS (See our website for Map link):
Upper 1 (A/BB): 7:30-9:30 PM
Upper 2 (BB/B): 5:15-7:15 PM
Middle 1 (B/B-): 3:00-5:00 PM
Middle 2/Lower (B-/C) 12:45 - 2:45 PM
All groups are co-ed 6's. League rules require a minimum of one woman and a
maximum of 4 men. 3 Players are required for a legal team. Full set of the
rules are on web site.
The Registration form is on line at:
http://www.aevolleyball.net <http://www.aevolleyball.net/>
After submitting the on line form, you must then follow up by sending a
check for $300 payable to A/E Volleyball Association - mailed or hand
delivered to the address below.
Returning Spring teams have until August 26th to register on line and
deliver their check to hold their spot. After returning Spring teams are
accommodated, it is first come first served based upon the receipt date of
the check for all openings. New teams should register early and not wait
until August 26th in order to get in line on the wait list. Checks will not
be cashed until we notify you that there is an opening. In lieu of the
address below, you may also hand deliver the check to 500 Union Street Suite
740 in downtown Seattle from 9 to 5 PM if that is more convenient than the
Phinney Ridge location.
PLAYER LIST:
We keep lists of email addresses of individuals who are looking for a team.
If you want to be added to this list, let us know your experience level and
if you have a preferred position. You can also leave a message in our guest
log on the web site.
If you are interested in organizing a group of the individuals to form a new
team, let us know (that is one of the best way to ensure you get to play).
If you are a team looking for more players let us know what gender, and
level or position you need and we will forward your email to the player
list.
We also occasionally, if we have an opening, form a new team from the
Individuals looking for a team. Please let us know if you are interested in
such a team.
Thanks-
Scott
