SK: ? on florida rescues

I'd buy a wild skunk if the"breeder" had the right paperwork,I suppose. It seems like breeding wild with domestic could only improve or add variety to the bloodlines. Kinda like people who breed European polecats with ferrets.

Cheers,
Gabe

It's far too late in the season to get a kit.

Be VERY, VERY cautious about 'breeders'.  Most are inexperienced, many have
been known to denrob wild kits and sell as domestic.....often NOT EVEN
DESCENTED, if you can believe that!  It happened right here at a Flea Market not
far from me!!  Some have even attempted to crossbreed wild with
domestic.....to the detriment of all.

Judy Slade,  skunkrescue at toast.net,  is an excellent Florida contact for
skunks needing adoption!!
