Most likely it's NEUTERTIME!!  Most boy skunks don't "hang and swing" like a 
dog.....so if they can be FELT, they can be WHACKED!!!
(A quote from a very prominent skunk vet!  LOL)  These babies this year seem 
a tad on the 'precocious' side!   : )

Diet also contributes to nippiness, as well as anyone having played 
rough with the kit.
