SK: Spotted skunks as pets

This does not sound very promising. Does that apply to both the eastern as
well as the western spotted skunk?

The Spotted Skunk is on the Threatened List.  It is prone to be highly 
destructive and NOT as gentle a creature as the Striped Skunk.  We never
recommend 
the taking of wild creatures and the Spotted Skunk has not been
domesticated.
