Please plan to attend the next Multihull Council Meeting to be held in conjunction with the US SAILING Spring Meeting, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Newport, Newport, RI, March 31-April 3, 2005. Our Chairman, Dan Mangus scheduled all the Multihull meetings, Alter Cup, Multihull Committee, and Multihull Council on Saturday, to enable more sailors to participate. The Alter Cup Meeting will be held immediately after the Board of Directors Meeting at 9:30am Saturday Morning, April 2, 2005. The Multihull Committee Meeting follows directly after at 10:30am. Then you will have the opportunity to take a break or participate in other meetings of interest. The Multihull Council Meeting is scheduled for 2:30pm. All the Multihull meetings are scheduled for the same meeting room, which should make us easier to find. See the agendas below. Our Website liaison, Darline Hobock has also posted the Agendas on the Multihull Council site at http://www.ussailing.org/multihull/reports/agendas03-05.htm.

Newport, Rhode Island is a wonderful place to hold the US SAILING Meeting. The Hyatt Regency Newport offers a spectacular view of the Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay and you will be within walking distance of all the restaurants and the Harbor Area. But you must act quickly if you wish to take advantage of the group rate. You must make your room reservation today! Call 401- 851-1234 or 80 1234.

Interested persons should check the US Sailing website at www.ussailing.org for more information about the host hotel, reservations, registration, and social events at http://www.ussailing.org/events/meet05Sp/index.htm
The Meeting Schedule should be posted shortly.

Meet and greet with other multihull sailors at the US SAILING Ice Breaker Reception to be held at Newport's Ocean Cliff Hotel on Friday, April 1st, 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Transportation will be provided to and from the Ocean Cliff Hotel. It's an open bar hosted by Gowrie, Barden, & Brett, so don't be late.

We hope to see you there.
